Qima Café was established as a space for us to explore and advance the equitable coffee sector with coffee consumers. It is an unescapable fact that the final consumer of any given product will be the ultimate price-setter. Tt requires a serious commitment from both consumers and coffee companies alike to understand what is standing in the way of equitable progress in coffee today, and collaborate to make a change.

Before Qima Café opened its doors, Qima Coffee existed since 2016 as an ethical coffee sourcing and trading organisation, and sourced coffee for some of the world’s most respected specialty coffee roasters across 40 countries worldwide. In the world of coffee trading, Qima is recognised as a leader in sourcing equitable coffee of exceptional quality from some of the worlds most challenging coffee growing countries.
BE THE CHANGE
The change cannot be brought about by coffee consumer or producer alone – it necessarily requires both parties to tango. Qima Café then, at its core, exists as a place to build a deeper understanding of the coffee sector, and a space for us to collaborate with consumers to build a more equitable industry.
